Conference Review
The 2024 Academic Conference on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (BDAI 2024) and the Pervasive Computing Forum were successfully held from October 18 to 20, 2024, at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) in Nansha District, Guangzhou. The conference was organized by the China Computer Federation (CCF), co-organized by the CCF Guangzhou Chapter, HKUST (Guangzhou), the CCF Technical Committee on Pervasive Computing, and the Guangdong Computer Federation, with support from the Guangzhou Association for Science and Technology.
Under the theme of advancing big data and AI innovation, the conference brought together approximately 500 on-site participants and nearly 100,000 online viewers. The event featured prominent guests including Academician Professor Jingzhong Zhang and Academician Professor Guoliang Chen of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, who delivered opening addresses and shared insights on the critical role of data science and artificial intelligence in driving technological progress.
